✅ Do I need extra insurance if instructors provide one?
Our instructors provide local ski insurance in Korea. However, we strongly recommend purchasing an additional travel or ski insurance in your own country before your trip. Local insurance typically includes:
Please note that coverage limits for foreigners are usually low. To ensure proper protection and peace of mind, we advise securing extra insurance before traveling.
✅ Can two people (one skiing, one snowboarding) share one instructor?
Unfortunately, no. Skiing and snowboarding require completely different techniques and equipment. Each discipline must be taught separately for both safety and effectiveness. This allows the instructor to wear appropriate gear and provide proper demonstrations.
✅ Preparing for Your First Ski Lesson
Your first impression of skiing is very important. Children may easily lose interest if the equipment feels too heavy or difficult. Parents are encouraged to join the lesson if the child is shy or nervous — this helps create a more comfortable environment for learning.
Tip: Being well-prepared ensures a smooth and enjoyable lesson!
✅ Lesson Payment
Lesson fees must be paid before class begins. During the busy winter season, instructors’ schedules are tightly packed, and post-class payments can cause delays. Please make payments in advance to confirm your booking.
✅ Other Activities
Each ski resort offers sledding areas and water parks. If you book a private car, you can also visit nearby attractions and enjoy local sightseeing.
✅ About Being Late
Please arrive 30–60 minutes early to get dressed, buy tickets, and rent equipment. If you arrive late, the lesson will still finish at the scheduled time. Since the ski season in Korea is short and instructors are fully booked, extensions are not possible.
✅ Equipment Rental Requirements
You will need an official ID such as a passport, room key, or international driver’s license to rent gear. Please note that instructors cannot rent equipment on behalf of guests; you must be present in person.
✅ Personal Belongings & Lockers
Yes, all ski resorts have lockers for personal storage. Each locker usually requires a ₩500 coin. It’s best to prepare a few ₩500 coins or even a ₩5000 bill so you can exchange for change on-site if needed. This will save time and help you avoid inconvenience during busy hours.
✅ Final Reminder
Our instructors are professional ski trainers whose main responsibilities are teaching and ensuring safety. They are not expected to assist with personal matters such as buying tickets, hotel check-in, ordering food, or managing logistics. Please handle those matters through official channels.
Let’s work together with mutual respect to create a safe, enjoyable, and memorable skiing experience! ⛷️❄️
